How to Get Here

By Car:
We are a one hour drive north of Nanaimo or 8 kms south of Courtenay, which is midway up the east coast of Vancouver Island, BC, Canada.

It is also only a 2-1/2 hour drive north of Victoria on the Island Highway 19 or a 3 hour drive from Vancouver which includes a 1-1/2 hour scenic BC Ferries ride from Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal to Departure Bay Terminal in Nanaimo or from Tsawassen Ferry Terminal to Duke Point just south of Nanaimo. Ferry schedule is available at www.bcferries.com.

After your arrival to Departure Bay, Nanaimo, take the Island Highway 19 north towards Courtenay and Campbell River. Turn off, at Exit 101, which is the Buckley Bay/Union Bay/Royston exit (same as the Denman/Hornby Island ferry exit) and then turn right at the bottom of the off-ramp. Continue down the windy hill and at the lights (PetroCan across the street), turn left (or north) onto Highway 19A (Old Island Highway). Continue on this road for approximately 10 minutes. You will find us about 5 minutes past the small village of Union Bay on your right hand side. Look for our rock and driftwood waterfall sign.
